Happy New Year
We are about to ring out the old and bring in the new, so I hope you all have your 2019 calendars and will mark the following events so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.
Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, 12:00 noon to 2:00, the Community Center and the Owasso Golden Agers are hosting our second bi-monthly “Give Back Bingo” event. Bingo cards will be available for purchase at $2 each or three cards for $5. This is your opportunity to have a great time and to give back to our community by providing food for the Owasso Food Pantry.
Third Tuesday of each month 2:00-4:00, beginning with January 15th, Bunco is back at the Center. All players bring a prize in the $5 range and leave with a prize. Sign up at the Member Services Desk please, so we know how many tables we should set up.
Friday, Jan. 11th, we’ll host an AARP Safe Driver class from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Saturday Jan. 12th, the first VFW fish fry of 2019 begins.
Wednesday, Jan. 23rd, the Tulsa County Assessor’s office will be at the Center all day to assist with Senior Freeze and Homestead applications and to answer questions regarding property taxes.
Friday, Jan. 25th a Genealogy ancestry class from 1:00 – 4:00. You need you to sign up in advance for these classes.
Saturday, Jan. 26th first VFW breakfast will take place.
